Income Statements We Accept

To be processed for the Cowboy Santas Program, we need to see proof of ALL HOUSEHOLD income for members, 18 years and older, for the past 30 days.

Examples of income statements


  • Employee issued pay checks stubs for the last 30 days
  • Social Security Benefits Letter
  • Disability Letter
  • Current Unemployment Letter 
  • Child Support Letter
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • Retirement Benefits Letter 


In order to register for Cowboy Santas, families must bring all of the following documents:

  • Proof of all household income for the past 30 days, for occupants 18 years and older. This can include pay check stubs, social security benefits letters, disability letters, workers’ compensation or retirement benefits. ​​
  • Picture ID of the applicant, who must be 18 or older.  
  • Proof of age for children ages 12 and under, such as a birth certificate or immunization records​
  • Proof of current Tarrant County address. 

Cowboy Santas is partnering with the Salvation Army Angel Tree to continue to provide toys and clothing to low-income families in Tarrant County.

  • Ask about applications at select Fort Worth Independent Schools
  • Apply at a Community Action Partners site
  • Serves children 14 years and younger
  • Gift pick up location will be assigned during appointment 
  • Online applications are not available

2019 ENROLLMENT procedures


Families can register for Cowboy Santas by visiting any of our Community Action Partner


  • Tuesday and Thursdays Only
    • Morning enrollment:     9 am to 11:30 am  
    • Afternoon enrollment:   1 pm to 3:30 pm
  • First come, First Served
  • Families will be required to bring all documentation to the center.

  • If you have children between birth and 14 years of age
  • Live in Tarrant County ​

  • If you have children 14 years and younger, live in Tarrant County and meet Income Guidelines, you may qualify to receive gifts for your children during the holiday season.

Disqualifying Criteria 

All holiday toy distributing agencies in DFW area are linked together and share access the Salvation Armys "Holiday Clearinghouse" modem system for cross-referencing of names, and share information. 

Families may only be registered through one charity organization. Multiple registrations at different locations, are not allowed. Those that enroll at multiple agencies, will NOT receive toys
